For this project our client approached D&M due to damaged tiles and a failing subfloor. The client required that the works be completed out of trading hours to minimise disruption to the business. As the works were fairly extensive it needed to be completed in stages rather than a single lift and replace. After agreeing a work plan and timescale the works began in earnest. The original tiles were lifted and the subfloor removed. Temporary flooring was installed to allow the pub to trade and D&M returned after hours to prepare and install a new timber subfloor. Once in and settled a latex covering was laid and the mosaic tiling could begin. Given the restricted timescales and the continued trading at the site it was a challenging job but once the grouting and a final clean up was complete both D&M and the client were delighted with the finish.
